This site accepts payment in several currencies.

You can choose your currency using the currency selector located at the bottom of each page.

Click on USD$ to see prices in US dollars or on CAD$ to see prices in Canadian dollars.

Your payment at checkout will be made in the currency you have selected.

The default currency of this site is USD$. If you do not select a currency, payment will be made in USD$.

We accept Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express debit or credit cards.

PayPal is very secure, and you do not require a Paypal account to pay for your items through PayPal, you can pay by credit or debit card.

You will receive a confirmation email from us once your payment has been made.


Most collection pieces are ready to ship within 1 day.

Custom design or personalized orders take two to three weeks.

You will be notified as soon as your order ships. If you need your order sooner please contact us.


The customer is responsible for choosing the proper size when ordering.

Ring size: Please note that because of the techniques used, custom design rings cannot be resized. Please check your ring size carefully before ordering.

If you feel that you received an item that just won't fit... let us know! We'll do our best to work with you to get the perfect fit.


Your jewelry is carefully packed and shipped in a secure protective package.

We use different types of packaging depending on the type of jewelry.

The primary function of the packaging used is to properly protect your new jewelry during transport to your destination.

Maintenance and care

Every piece of jewelry is hand-crafted and therefore subject to slight variations compared to pictures.

Tarnishing is a natural process which happens to all sterling silver or bronze items. Tarnished pieces can be easily restored to their original luster through polishing.

Shiny, satin and matte finishes as well as oxidized finishes and electroplating are all surface treatments which fade over time.

Keeping your necklace in a clear plastic zip-lock bag best prevents tarnishing.

It is recommended that you remove jewelry during any contact with water and before going to bed.


If something happens to break within 30 days of delivery, we are more than happy to fix it for you.

To have your jewelry repaired, please first email a photograph of your piece to info@carminflint.com so we can evaluate the repair.

Once the repair has been confirmed, we ask that you:

  • Fill out the Repair My Carmin & Flint Jewelry form
  • Include a copy of the receipt, along with the completed repair form in your returned package
  • When returning the product, describe the item as a "Return and Repair" and declare the amount as $0. This should avoid customs charges

Carmin & Flint is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping to us or for any duty fees necessary to retrieve a package.

Once we have received the item for repair, please allow another 7 days for your repair to be processed and re-sent.


Order invoices are put inside every outgoing package. If your item is a gift and you would like us to exclude the invoice in the shipment please leave a message with your order.

PLEASE NOTE: For international shipments, we are obligated by law to indicate the exact value of the package on the Customs Declaration form and to include the invoice, even if this is a gift.

Privacy Policy

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us using the "Contact Us" link.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is Carmin & Flint whose registered office is in Mont St-Hilaire, Canada.

2. The promotion is open only to residents of Canada and the United States aged 18 years or over.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this promotion.

4. By entering this promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

10. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

11. Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by the promoter.

12. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Facebook/Instagram within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

13. The promoter will notify the winner on how the prize can be claimed. The prize will not be shipped to the winner by Carmin & Flint. The winner must pick up the prize in person at the Carmin & Flint store in Mont St-Hilaire.

14. The promoter’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

15. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice. The promoter also reserves the right to cancel the promotion if circumstances arise outside of its control.
