Rustic style leather bracelet with a silver tone Hope Anchor hook.

This bracelet is handmade in my workshop from vegetable tanned leather. The veg tan leather hide has been cut to size, then hand finished.

Wraps twice around the wrist for a very cool look. Can be worn as a bracelet for men or as a choker for women.

Width: 1/2 inch (15 mm) sturdy leather band.

Size: choose your wrist size.

Why is veg tan leather the eco-friendly choice?

Vegetable tanning, or veg tan as it’s sometimes called, is a natural process. It’s called “vegetable” because of the natural materials used in the tanning process like tree bark or plants.

Because of this, vegetable tanned leather develops a rich and beautiful patina, and actually gets better with time and use. It doesn’t crack or dry out and thus has a very long lifespan.

Vegetable tanning is totally eco-friendly, unlike the process of chrome tanning which creates toxic wastewater that has detrimental environmental impact, especially in the third world countries.
