The "Triton" pendant necklace is hand made from solid Bronze in my workshop. I used a dark patina to bring out the details of this unique design. This handmade jewelry makes a great gift for men.
The "Triton" pendant is a symbolic representation of Triton, God of the Sea, overlooking the tumultuous ocean waves. He carried a gnarled conch shell that would quiet or enrage the sea at his whim when he played it as a trumpet, representing how we can impact the world around us.
Pendant size: approx 2 inch 1/4 (55 mm) height x 3/8 inch (10 mm) width x 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick
Necklace chain: Choose your size and material
WHAT IS BRONZE
Bronze is a tri-metal alloy and is extremely durable and resistant to corrosion. Tri-metal alloys are considered the preferred, practical and safe alternative for items that can come into contact with the skin.
Bronze jewelry will patina over time and change color. This occurs when the metal reacts to moisture and air, oxidizing in the process. Typically bronze oxidizes only superficially; once an outside oxide layer is formed, the underlying metal is protected from corrosion.
