This "Amara" pearl pendant necklace is handmade of 925 Sterling Silver. It has been hand crafted and cast in pure 92.5% solid silver in my workshop using a technique called water casting.
I melt silver and pour the molten silver into cold water! The resulting organic shape creates a cup that imitates nature in a beautiful way. Two of these silver cups have been used for this pendant, one being oxidized black. Finally, the lovely cultured pearl is set inside the cup to create this unique pendant.
